A Strong Foundation course in Rudiments of music for the students who want to learn, understand and master the fundamentals of Music notation reading and to write to become a successful Music Composer and Music arranger. There will be weekly assignments and one final project. The students will have enough supplementary study materials to perfect and master the rudiments of music.

Musical notes: Semibreve, Minim, Crotchet, Quavers, Dotted Notes, and Ties
Semibreve, Minim, Crotchet and Quaver Rests
Different time signatures
Accidentals
Diatonic, Enharmonic, and Chromatic
Semitones and whole tones
Major and Minor Scales
Key signatures and scales
Natural, Harmonic and Melodic minor scales
Simple Intervals and compound intervals
Intervals
Final project

Prerequisites
Age 16+
The student must have completed 10th standard or SSLC board exam.
The student must have proficiency in English language reading and writing.
Required Textbooks
Berklee Music Theory 1 by Paul Schmeling, Berklee Press.
A Handbook of Musical Knowledge by James Murray Brown.
Weekly two classes and each class is one hour.
Duration of the course is three months.
